User:トレモロン/Hammering Alchemistry
Overview
I intentionally omitted inefficient routes. For example, you can craft an axe instead of a hoe in converting ingot(s) to a stone, but it's not sited because it requires another ingot.
Hierarchy of Resources
- As you can see, the resources only go downward with a few notable exceptions.
- You can easily convert resources from top to down, but doing the opposite is impossible for most materials.
- Given this hierarchy, what should you do if you luckily get a dark matter stone?
- A: you should duplicate and store some of stones before converting into logs.
Base States
- A base state of X refers to the type of resource X naturally exists as.
Hammering weapons or armors, you'll get a material in its natural form.
For example, if you hammer a wooden weapon made out of the gold log you can get in Lucky Bell, it turns into a gold ore gem. In other words, the base state of gold is a ore gem.
The list of base states are shown below, but they have a clear tendency: most of jewels and metals have ore gems, or ores as their base states. And crystals as fragments.
Therefore, you can not only change metal scraps into metal ingots, but also get diamond ingots from diamond stones duplicated in the process I mention later.

Stone/Log Duplication
1 stone/log becomes 2 cut stone/plank.
On top of that, 1 cut stone/plank can be hammered into 1 stone/log in a nearly 50% chance.
Therefore, you can duplicate them by rejecting bad results with reloading.
About Stone Creating Procedure
SCP transforms any items into stones made out of the same material.
I recommend melting bullets and arrows in the dye maker for ylva-friendlyness.
Or, buying dyes from a dye vendor that resides in Olvina is also effective. Any dyes including dark matter dye is available even without a single investment there. You can also hammer dyes into empty bottles.
You can just use the produced stone to create more arrows for another cycle.
Best places to burn carpets are dungeons that ignore monthly map refresh, especially Vernis' final floor.
Tiles in your base become inflammable if your base level is more than 3.
You can also use your tents, but even a big tent is not nearly wide enough to contain most of the flame Meteor magic produces.
For the finale part of the procedure, you make natural ramps out of the chunk obtained by digging burnt carpets. This part, however, can be accomplished more efficiently in your base. In building mode, you can build and mine ramps without SP consumption.
SCP's biggest weak point is difficulty to acquire a recipe of natural ramp. Investing in a bookstore owner might be the fastest way to get one.
About Materials in a Form of Chunk
Chunk is the same form as normal soil.
Chunk made of...
- soil
- yellow soil
- red soil
- blue soil
- light soil(1)
- mystic soil
- sand
- white sand
- quartz sand
- deep soil
- sea sand
- mud
- forest soil
- light soil(2)
can be an ingredient for a soil floor.
Plowed tile can be dug infinitely and produce however many chunks you want. This technique is useful when you need a lot of glasses.
Notable Alchemy
Paper(and mica) containers and tables
Buy dyes of paper and mica. Use SCP to get plenty amounts of paper/mica. Convert some of paper stones to paper log. Convert all of mica stones to ingots. (By making a mica weapon and hammering it and refining the produced mica ore)
Mica ingots are for making BBQ table or other things that use ingots as their main ingredients.
Duplication of Gold, Rubynas, Diamond
Buy dyes from a dye vendor. Use SCP or cut stone duplication, then make stone weapons and hammer them.
Duplication of Dark Matter stone (without gacha)
When you don't have a dark matter stone to duplicate, and one of your bases is below level 3, try this!
Buy dark matter dyes from a dye vendor. Make walls of Lumiest out of them. Mine the wall if you don't have its recipe.
Burn them IN your base with less than 3 levels.
Level your base to Lv.4, and mine the burnt walls in building mode.
You get dark matter chunks. Convert some of them into stones to craft tools. Convert 5 of the chunks to clays and get a dark matter water pot, which has a overwhelming capacity of 420.
Dark matter's base state is a fragment but I have yet to find out a good usage of it.
Mass-Production of Sapphire Bullets/Power Cells
Buy dyes or melt sapphire bullets in a dye maker. You get sapphire stones via SCP, so transform them to base states. Ore gem can be turned into gem through a gem cutter.
Caution
Some of materials don't follow the rules of alchemy.
- Soils cannot be turned into stones when mining natural tiles.
- Dark matter cannot be duplicated via SCP because burnt floor becomes nearly impossible to dig.
