This is an update regarding genes. Since there are many changes to the source this time, please make sure to back up your save data by using the "Backup" button on the load screen before saving in the new version.
[Additions and Changes]
- Temporarily removed automatic growth through companion feat points.
- Resetting growth based on companion feat points is now possible.
- Genes can now be recombined at the Gene Synthesis Machine.
- Recessive genes can now be used to reset individual genes.
- Added the recipe for Recessive Genes to the Stone Mill.
- Genes now have a low drop rate when defeating enemies.
- When disassembling items with a hammer, if there's no chance to obtain anything, "Disassemble" will now display as "Destroy."
- The strength of the effects from milk during breastfeeding is now heavily influenced by the milk's enhancement level (e.g., God’s Milk < Putit’s Milk +1).
- Shearing is no longer possible on Moon Gate maps.
- Ceasefire Whistle and Binoculars are now held as tools (the throw action will not appear).
- Improved the slight shaking of speech bubbles when the screen scrolls.
- The reading difficulty of cursed spellbooks has been significantly increased, while it is slightly easier when blessed.
- Added the recipe for the Sun Lamp to Nino's inventory (temporary).
- Updated the snow graphics.
[Fixes]
- Fixed the color coding for job listings on the resident bulletin board to match the tooltip display colors.
- Various small fixes and adjustments.
[Notes]
- The balance for enhancements from breastfeeding and genes will likely undergo further adjustments for a while. Major changes might occur.
- Additional elements that can be inherited through genes are planned, including character behavior, AI patterns, and exclusive feats that can only be acquired via genes.
- Gene synthesis may eventually be possible for the PC as well.
- Since more items not suited for novice adventurers have been added to Nino's inventory, a new NPC may be introduced to move some of these items.
- The Taming skill may become an honorary medal that only beta test characters can obtain.
Hotfix 1
- Fixed an issue where skills in the character sheet may not display.
- Resolved an issue where humans in a suspended state would move to workstations or beds during time simulation.
- Corrected an issue where certain feats could be learned from trainers.
- When holding scissors, the shearing icon will now change for characters whose hair has already reached its maximum length.
- An icon will now appear for babies needing milk when a character has milk available.
