Elin has a number of items such as Food, tools, furniture, Cards and Equipment.

Items can be made of varying Materials.

Item Traits

Items have traits such as 【Fair Quality】, 【Sweet】, and 【Soothing】, and are given various effects according to their traits.

Some traits change their names according to their level.

Move the cursor over the item and press the x key to see detailed information about the trait.

Trait list

See food for traits related to food. The levels of traits are for the items without pluses.

Inherited Traits

An item created in crafting other than cooking inherits traits from its ingredients.

If there are same types of traits with different Lv., the product only inherits the higher one.

For exmaple, fusuma created from a non-leveled gold texture and pearl plank inherits Lv.4 rarity from gold.


An item also retains traits when hit with a material hammer.

Its traits lose the Lv.s originated in the material the item used to be made of, and then gain the traits Lv.s of the material hammer.

Enhanced Traits of Farming and Ranching Products

Trees and cotton flowers increases the Lv. of traits as their seed levels grow larger.

Also, monsters with higher Lv. give you items(i.e. fiber) with increased trait Lv..

In both of case, the trait Lv. is capped at Lv.7.

  • Quality

    Quality affects an item's price and effectiveness of use.

    Each item has a unique base quality, and quality traits increase this value by a certain percentage.

    Quality traits can be added by breeding crops to increase their + value (enhancement level).

    In addition, the meat of monster with enhanced Lv. has higher qualtiy than one from enemy with base Lv..

    To make a product retain ingredient's quality trait, you need to have fabrication skill that exceeds the required level for that recipe.

    A recipe Lv. also helps you to retain ingredient's quality.

    FOr example, if you have 120 carpentry and 4 Recipe Lv. and craft a king's bed,

    its quality gains 6 Lv. from having high carpentry and 1 Lv. from having many recipes of it.

    Curse/Bless

    Some items may be cursed or blessed.

    These statuses change the performance and effects of the item.

    Craft Mechanisms

    See Creating and Food for specific crafting recipes.

    When crafting an item using multiple materials with the same trait, the trait levels are combined in the case of cooking, but the highest level of the trait is retained in all other crafting.

    Negative traits can be offset or overridden by mixing the same positive trait.

    In addition, quality traits are limited in the level at which they can be inherited from materials, and the upper limit can be increased by raising the level of the corresponding crafting skill.

    Note that this restriction does not apply when processing items with sawmills or other processor, and the quality of the material is retained.

    Learning recipes

    In order to craft an item, you must have learned the recipe for that item.

    Some recipes can be learned immediately after starting the game, or can be purchased from unique NPCs, but the majority of recipes must be learned on your own.

    Conditions for acquiring recipes

    There are conditions for acquiring recipes of the type that are acquired randomly, and by increasing the cooking skill for dishes or the crafting skills used in the corresponding production equipment for items, it becomes possible to acquire higher level recipes. Specifically, if the required level of the recipe is -5 or higher, there is a high probability of acquiring that recipe.

    Acquiring a specific recipe

    If you destroy the target item with a hammer, pickaxe, shovel, etc., and the difference between the the recipe level and skill level is no lower than 5, you may get the recipe.

    If the corresponding recipe has already been learned, an unlearned recipe in the same category can be learned at random.

    • If you get a recipe for the floor, you will also get a recipe for the corresponding platform.

    Acquiring recipes from crafting

    You may also get recipes at a low rate when crafting, and the recipes you get will be randomly drawn from the same category as the item or food you are crafting.

    • Furthermore, if you get a recipe inspiration while cooking a take-out pizza (category: meal), the recipe will be randomly drawn from all dishes.

    If your cooking skill level increases, you will receive a bonus that makes it easier to come up with cooking recipes, and this state will continue until you come up with a cooking recipe.

    Acquiring Random Recipes

    During sleep, random events and the Shrine of Wheel that is generated in the wildness map and Nefia will randomly give you a recipe from a variety of items. If you use the ★Ehekatl's body pillow during sleep or use the Shrine of Wheel to learn a recipe, there is a chance that you will learn a recipe of a higher level than usual.

    Recipe Levels

    Duplicate recipes that have already been mastered will increase the recipe level and give a bonus in quality traits to the crafted item.
