I’d rather let the player themself discuss in Discord why this is such a powerful god, but I’ll just say that if I wasn’t so loyal to Lulwy and always following her (always have in every Elona/Elin game, even in vanilla Elona orz), I would probably consider Kizuami. You can see more about the god here: [[Elin:Kizuami_of_Trickery|Elin:Kizuami of Trickery]]. But the thing I want to focus on is his god weapon: [[Elin:Kogitsunemaru|Elin:Kogitsunemaru]]. Note that every single enchantment is a faction-wide effect. This means that now every single party member will become significantly more survivable (increases to life, physical damage reduction, and elemental damage reduction), ''and'' they will also do significantly more damage too (with the massive spell enhancement and additional damage “to all beings”, aka all monsters). The tradeoff? You can’t do any damage yourself, as the player (even if you gave this weapon to a party member, as the “forbid violence” enchantment is faction-wide). It does mean, however, that you will play a much more supportive role in the party, and supporting your allies by buffing/debuffing as necessary, kind of like a Pokémon trainer? This would be perfect for my playstyle, but alas, the lovely Lulwy-sama…


Anyway, I’m talking all about meta and all that. You could also be like me, and simply worship and follow a god based on whose personality best fits yours, or who you like the most simply by their… personality/characteristics. This is where I come in. I follow Lulwy because… let’s not talk about why specifically, but I do it for RP reasons! She may not be the best fit for my playstyle, but I love her a lot, and I do it even though it’s not meta! (I’ve also only followed two gods ever. Ehekatl first for the Black Cat follower, and then switched over to Lulwy, who I’ve been with ever since.) I’m missing out on things like the Elemental Staff, [[Elin:Ring_Of_Void|Elin:Ring of Void]], and [[Elin:Holy_Lance|Elin:Holy Lance]] (this last one would mainly be for my little girl who’s a Polearm user), but oh well, right? Haha. It’s all in the name of RPing accurately (as I would do if I was isekai’d and was like, lemme get the Black Cat apostle before turning apostate and dedicating myself to Lulwy).
