They only start with body, hand and light source slots, and while they still gain body parts upon leveling, the player needs to gain body parts through feats instead of them being automatically added; the body parts added are random. Chaos Shape may acquire up to five additional parts without penalty, but each additional part after the sixth is accompanied by a -3 life force, -5 speed, and -3 charm penalty which replaces the complicated body penalty from Elona; the cap is -45 life, -75 speed, and -45 charisma at 20 gained body parts.
