The Emissary of the Ivory Tower is a unique NPC but does not have a fixed name. (Drop items and other items will also be labeled as “Emissary of the Ivory Tower.”)
In previous versions, there was a bug where a large number of items were generated in the Emissary of the Ivory Tower's inventory. This bug was fixed in EA 23.16, but Emissaries of the Ivory Tower generated in versions prior to this may have the following issues: Refusing gifts (due to carrying an excessive number of items beyond the limit, they simply have no room to accept anything). When recruited into a party, they begin taking damage from excess items in their inventory and eventually die.
