A One Block is a type of prologue (Home) that can be selected when creating a player character.

It is a challenge map with specifications completely different from other homes.

Overview

When selecting One Block as the starting point, the player begins on an sky map consisting of only one block, as the name suggests.

Exiting the map is generally not possible, and therefore there is no story.

Infinite wreck regenerates beneath your feet, which can be collected to obtain various resources and items, which can then be used to develop the land.

Game Start

Your first scavenged wreck will yield a parcel containing the following supplies:

  • Planting Spot Sign
  • Rod of Magic bolt
  • Gold Bar x10
  • Logs x6
  • Stone x4
  • Resin x2

Additionally, immediately after starting the game, you can harvest soil floors from wrecks. Placing these on the air, you can expand the land.

Scavenging Wreck

Wreck in the One block yields different items than in standard game mode.

  • Wood: Logs, grass, seeds, and other plant resources
  • Stone: Stone, bones, gold bar, etc.
  • Cloth: Fiber
  • Jars: Junk
  • Jewelry: Spellbooks, rods, scrolls
  • Scrap: Scrap
  • Bird's Nest: Egg, Fertilized Egg

Planting Spot Sign

Another primary resource acquisition method alongside debris is Planting Spot Sign.

Areas designated by this sign will frequently spawn vegetation, creatures, rocks, and other objects. What spawns depends on the biome: sand floor spawns Palulu and cacti, while water floor spawns seaweed and rock salt. In One block, Planting Spot Sign grants additional effects; Generates random altars, shrines and statues, and『Big Daddy』 (up to 1 per map).

  • Generated entities disappear after several hours.

Content Unlocking

As you expand the land or time passes, items and NPCs will fall from the sky, unlocking additional features.

In addition to the personnel and supplies listed above, treasure chests will also fall randomly.

Raid

Blowing the War horn triggers a raid event, spawning several monsters from the Void Gate.

Defeating the raid from the Void Gate rewards you with a boss drop treasure chest, plus additional rewards such as god's body pillow and shrine.

The raid difficulty is displayed as “Raid Level.” in the top-left corner of the screen and increases each time you defeat it.

As Raid Level increases, higher-level unique NPCs will appear on the Request Board.

Other Specifications

  • Unique NPCs that are not automatically unlocked can be recruited from the quest board.
    • In this mode, unique characters not implemented in the standard mode also appear. Be prepared for spoilers.
  • Since it's a sky map, digging the floor creates holes. Therefore, you cannot dig the floor infinitely to obtain materials.
