In the town, you may meet other adventurers and interact with them.

Classification

There are three types of adventurers:

  1. Random Adventurers: Appearance, name, and abilities are all random. Children born from fertilized eggs have random races, classes, and abilities, regardless of their parents.
  2. Fairy Adventurers: The race is always Fairy, and everything else is random. Children born from fertilized eggs have the Fairy race, and everything else is random.
  3. Unique Adventurers: Have a unique appearance, name and abilities. Their clones are born from fertilized eggs.

Common specifications

  • Move around the town over a set period of time
  • You can ask for information about nearby Nefia (a random Nefia will be generated nearby)
  • Random and Fairy adventurers have a base level of 10 and can normally spawn with any level from 10 to 49
  • You can challenge them to a duel, and if you win, their affinity will increase slightly and you will gain fame according to the difference in rank and their equipment.
    • If they are not wearing any equipment, they will give you a platinum coin instead
    • Even if you lose a duel, you don't die, but your fame decreases slightly.
  • To recruit an adventurer, you must first win a duel
  • Children born from fertile eggs will also be listed in the Adventurer Rankings
  • Adventurer Rank is based on the adventurer's current level (with the exception of Emissary of Ivory Tower, Gaki, Kiria and Younger Snow Leopard Sister, they are Rank A despite having a lower level)
    • Rank S: Level 50+
    • Rank A: Level 40 to 49
    • Rank B: Level 30 to 39
    • Rank C: Level 20 to 29
    • Rank D: Level 10 to 19
    • Rank E: Level 1 to 9
  • For now, there is no retirement or replacement of adventurers.

Random and Fairy Adventurers

The races, classes, and abilities of regular adventurers are randomized, and depending on the combination, it is possible for adventurers to be born with strength that rivals even unique NPCs.

Race

Fairy adventurers will always be of the Fairy race, as their appearance suggests, and the race of random adventurers will be chosen at random from the eight playable races (Yerles, Eulderna, Hilfolk, Juere, Elea, Chaos Shape, Snail, and Lich), excluding Fairy and the additional races.

Class

Spells and Abilities

Adventurers always have 3 (with a 50% chance to get a fourth) random spells and abilities. Some adventurers have learned magic that the player cannot learn.

There is currently no way to view the magic and abilities that the adventurer has learned, so the only way to check is to have them fight.

Also, because adventurers that have just hatched from fertile eggs have low MP, they may not use all the magic they know.

For a list of possible random spells and abilities they can generate with along with the exceptions, see DNA List.

Other

  • The default Combat AI depends on the adventurer's class:
    • Warrior class = Fighter AI
    • Thief class = Rogue AI
    • Wizard class = Mage AI
    • Archer class = Archer AI
    • Warmage class = Warmage AI
    • Priest class = Healer AI
    • Gunner class = Gunner AI
    • Paladin class = Paladin AI
    • Farmer, Tourist, Pianist, Inquisitor, Executioner and Sword Sage class = Predator AI
  • Chaos Shape adventurers will automatically gain a Body Mutation feat every 5 levels, and will gain a new part. This does not consume feat points.

Side note: Adventurers in Specwing

In Specwing, there are adventurers living as NPCs.

They have alias and random abilities just like normal adventurers, and you can ask them for information about Nefia, but they cannot duel and are not listed in the Adventurer Rankings.

They are treated as normal NPCs, so you do not need to win a duel when recruiting them, and it is easier to recruit them than normal adventurers.

If you recruit an adventurer from Specwing they will be added to the Adventurer Rankings.

Static Adventurers

Static Adventurers have unique appearances and abilities, and some of them have powerful artifacts.

Basically, the magic and abilities used by Static Adventurers are fixed, but there are also Static Adventurers whose abilities are not all fixed.

For example, Gaki only has Insult as a static ability, and the other three magic/abilities are random for each individual.
