A magic wand, also known as a rod, is a tool that can be used to cast magic when waved.For more information on melee weapons such as staves and long staffs, and wands that perform magical ranged attacks (canes), please see the Weapons page.

Rods

You can only use as many as you have in stock, and they will not disappear even if the remaining number of uses reaches 0.

Like spell books, they are sold by mages, magic shopkeepers, healers, and in small quantities at tool shops and general stores.

Differences from Magic

Unlike chanted spells, the strength of a rod is determined by the skill magic device, and [感覚によって強度が決まります- machine translation = senses of the magical item? This part needs better translation.].

It is also not affected by magic buffs or anti-magic.

If the rod is blessed, its strength increases, and if it is cursed, the effect itself can change.

It can be used even while silenced, and the magic will always be activated, making it easy to use in emergencies.

Ether Disease

If you have the Ether Disease Mana Battery, your magic will automatically be absorbed from any rods you acquire.

Rods already in your inventory will also be absorbed as soon as you pick them up, so you will not be able to use rods while you have Mana Battery.
