Flying Scroll Smithing

Flying Scroll.....

  • Blessed : Reduces weight by 20%
  • Normal : Reduces weight by 12.5%
  • Cursed : Increases weight by N%, The weight increase gradually decreases with cumulative usage (maybe the base weight) and converges to 50%.

For weapons,

  • Reduces weight = accuracy is reduced, and damage is increased.
  • Increases weight = damage is reduced, and accuracy is increased.

Doesn't this mean you can keep reducing the weight while continuously increasing damage and accuracy?

Therefore, the increments and decrements are predetermined for specific intervals... When the value is low, both the increase and decrease are small, whereas when the value is high, both the increase and decrease are greater.

increase in damage by section
Dam Reduces weight Increases weight
1~9 -1 +1
10~14 -1 +2
15~19 -1 +3
20~24 -1 +4
25~39 -1 +5
40~59 -2 +5
60~ -3....~ +5

This means that if sufficient resources are available, work can be carried out in a specific range.

Let's take Warmonger as an example

Warmonger basically has a +10 damage modifier, so if it is upgraded and blessed to +15 or higher (+4 blessed or +5..etc), it will immediately receive the +3 effect.

Actually, it would be better to use it later right? Since it adds to the final result.

Anyway... +5 Warmonger, which has a weight of 4.5 and +15 Dam Mod.

@ Try 1 / increased from 4.5 to 7.3, resulting in a total increase of 61.09%, and +18 Dam

@ Try 2 / increased from 7.3 to 11.3, resulting in a total increase of 56.89%, and +21 Dam

@ Try 3 / increased from 11.3 to 17.6, resulting in a total increase of 54.39%, and +25 Dam

@ Try 4 / increased from 17.6 to 26.9, resulting in a total increase of 52.84%, and +30 Dam

@ Try 5 / increased from 26.9 to 40.8, resulting in a total increase of 51.86%, and +35 Dam

@ Try 6 / increased from 40.8 to 61.7, resulting in a total increase of 50.57%, and +40 Dam

@ Try 7 / increased from 61.7 to 93.0, resulting in a total increase of 51.47%, and +45 Dam

@ Try 8 / increased from 93.0 to 140.0, resulting in a total increase of 50.54%, and +50 Dam

@ Try 9 / increased from 140.0 to 210.4, resulting in a total increase of 50.36%, and +55 Dam

Since exceeding 59 will result in a loss, let's now use the Blessed Flying Scroll *2

@ Try 1 / Reduced from 210.4*0.8*0.8, to 134.7, and +51 Dam +2 Acc

Let's use the Cursed Flying Scroll again.

@ Try 2 / increased from 134.7 to 202.5, resulting in a total increase of 50.37%, and +56 Dam +1 Acc

The weight has decreased compared to before, and the result is better

By repeating this.... we can obtain, which has a low weight, damage in the late 50, and accuracy in the low 10~.

Now, let's use a lot of Cursed Flying Scrolls...

Yes, it was truly an *Elona*-like experience after a long time...

After all, in the case of Flying Scrolls, they are hard to obtain, and the amount of work required is very high, so they are literally 'for fun' purposes.
