One of the most ancient nations in Sierre Terre, Eulderna wields vast knowledge of magic and magical weaponry. Recognized and feared as the desert empire by the world, they bear a sense of chosen destiny, believing that only they are worthy of steering the world's course. They are cruel perfectionists. Euldernains are skilled in magic and magical tools, making them apt for caster and intermediate professions.

Overview

A desert nation of magicians from the east, separated from Tyris by a vast ocean. They are elitists of an ancient lineage and are capable at many different trades, in particular those related to the mystic arts. Drawing from the vast reserves of ether crystals that lie beneath the deserts, the Eulderna have constructed many magical wonders, most notably weapons of war. The airships which invaded Tyris near the end of the Ten Years' War were considered the pinnacle of Euldernain craftsmanship and utterly invulnerable.

Nevertheless, while inclined towards magic, Euldernains are considered a relatively balanced race; players aiming for more extreme caster archetypes should consider playing an elea, lich or fairy instead. Eulderna start with balanced attributes, leaning towards will, magic and charisma; the downside to such a balanced start is that they're a suboptimal choice for a pure spellcaster, or a pure-anything class.

Literacy and casting are mainstays of any character who intends to use magic, and with the addition of wands which rely on magic device as a governing skill, it's possible to turn an Euldernain into a ranged attacker. Unfortunately, their feats still aren't very unique this time around, being substitutable with magic capacity and control magic.

Suggested Classes

Euldernains do well in caster archetypes, but their balanced stats lend themselves to hybrid classes.

  • Sword Sage
  • Wizard
  • Witch
  • Priest
  • Paladin
