Oh! What's this?

Did you manage to stumble upon this secret segment?

Well, before you proceed. Let me warn you that this is probably one of the most unfair crafting secret that not a lot may know about the game.

As the name of this segment suggests. I'm talking about the unrestricted and unfair OPness of flowers. No, I'm serious.

So, flowers may be something considered as emergency food as it's made of raw food. But, did you know that it is the most overpowered item in the game. It can be the source 31-37 corpses per flower.

Let me explain how that works:

  1. So you pick flowers and gather branches from any area. Can be homegrown or out on the wild
  2. Then you dismantle the flowers with a hammer.
  3. After doing that, you will get a leaf/leaves made of raw food
  4. Use those leaves and a branch to make 40 raw food makeshift arrows (This is Quick Craft Skill Recipe - the same skill used to make bait)
  5. Put all those arrows in a Compost Bin and you will get 40 fertilizers after a day or so
  6. Dismantle those fertilizers to get soil corpses. Take note that there are two types of soil corpses (I recommend dismantling stacks of these after you have 5 or 0 stamina left) :
    • The first type is the soil generic corpse that has the Stinky Trait. It looks like a dead person. This is recommended for bait, faith farming, and other crafting needs.
    • The second type is a brown meat slab with Level 4 Strength Exp Trait. This is good for cooking and feeding your residents.
    • I recommend dividing stacks you get on the chance you get either.
    • Did you know that since these are made of soil, they don't decay?
    • Take note that conversion rate of dismantled fertilizer range from 80% to 89%. So let's say you dismantled 100 Fertilizer, you will roughly get around 80 to 89 Soil Corpses.

With just a quick trip to the next tile, you get roughly 8 to 10 flowers and branches. That's around 320 to 400 Fertilizers per zone.

A lot more productive than dismantling entire walls of a Factory/Metal Nefia, right?

The only issue here is the stamina usage, right?

Well... did you know that you can reach -150 Stamina without dying? There's this calculation that HP damage scales depending on how much negative stamina you have. For example, doing work that costs stamina while on negative stamina will not only further lower your stamina, but it also damages you depending on how much negative stamina you have. But...

  • What if your HP is high enough?
  • What if you have healers as an ally or those that can resurrect?
  • What if your Crafting Skill is high enough that it reduces Stamina usage?
  • What if you worship Ehekatl and use her Lucky Dagger to steal Stamina from hostile mobs? (If you have a hostile monster generator set-up in your base then you have an unlimited source of Stamina)

Right now, I have around 230 HP. What I do is I use my stamina for other things, then when I have 0 to 10 stamina left, that's when I dismantle around 300 fertilizers. And I will survive this, because having positive HP, and non-negative Stamina withstands the HP loss from getting your Stamina reduced to -150 Stamina. Also, having a higher Crafting Skill reduces the stamina cost in crafting/dismantling, thus further reducing the potential damage you sustain. Now what increases a lot Crafting Skill? Dismantling and Crafting a lot of things using Stamina :)

The most OP item in the game. A flower.

Note: This has been available since I gained access to this game since August (Playtest Era) and it is working to this day (November 14, 2024 EA 23.26 Hotfix 2 Update)

Use this wisely, and may it still work, unless nerfed or modded back in. Enjoy.
