About

Attack

The tidal wave knocks back opponents with a physical attack, causing them to be paralyzed (stunned) or suffocated.

  • The tidal wave's physical attack is always hit.
  • The knockback effect is activated even if the opponent is holding a weapon (although this is not particularly relevant as the tidal wave has no hands).
  • If the opponent is knocked back, they will be suffocated and paralyzed (stunned).
  • If the target is pushed to the edge of a wall and cannot move, the suffocation intensity increases, and the target takes minor special damage.

Disappearance

Tidal Wave's speed decreases with each action, and it dies when its speed reaches 0. It also disappears after pushing enemies to the edge of a wall.

  • Unlike the time-based disappearance mechanic of Funnels, this occurs even if you befriend them, making it practically impossible to keep them as pets.

Countermeasures

The knockback, paralyze (stun), and suffocation caused by Tidal Wave can be nullified if the target is in a gravity or entangled state.

Additionally, the damage received when pushed to the wall can be nullified with an enchantment of Immunity to shockwave.
