The name of elea isn't simply to be a slightly different version of elf.  In Elona, there were NPCs called wizards of elea in reference to [[wikipedia:Zeno_of_Elea|Zeno of Elea]], a philosopher from the town of Elea in southern Italy famous for proposing paradoxes that challenged conceptions of time and motion.  The wizard of elea NPCs had abilities referencing some of those paradoxes, like nerve arrow to reference Zeno's Arrow Paradox.
