Carpentry allows the player to create objects out of wood.

Overview

Wood is obtained via the Lumberjacking skill, NPCs with the lumberjacking job, or dismantling wooden furniture.

Dismantling stone or metal sculptures with a hammer will produce a log rather than a block, allowing the creation of otherwise inaccessible crafting materials such as diamond planks.

The Sawmill is a processor used to refine materials. Its sawing speed increases at level 40.
