This guide would be in form of small bullet points. Information which may be useful to the player and requires no setup.

- Skills need to be learned at a trainer for 4 platinum if you don't initially start out with them

- Casting and Magic Device can be trained at training dummy by using a cane and using shoot action at it. Meditate upon getting low in mana, canes don't use charges.

- Bandages are useful. Meditation can be performed mid battle

- Playing the game burdened trains Strength. In general using a skill trains that stat

- Regeneration and armor can be trained at gallows

- You can pick up tax boxes with 4 furniture tickets.

- Levels only give feats and don't improve stats otherwise.

- Once you have sufficient influence (say 10) you can keep re-rolling the quest board to get monster extermination quests. If you pick even a single patrol quest per roll then upon receiving monster extermination quest, you would be influence positive from satisfying requirement of both quests.

- Base tax starts at 500 and increases by 500 every year till a cap is reached. Paying extra tax to your maid doesn't start a pre-paid plan for taxes. You pay extra taxes and capital sends a token of gratitude based on extra amount paid.
