Overview

Requests that can be accepted on the bulletin board are randomly generated from NPCs in town.

Completing a request increases the player's karma, prestige value, and influence in that town, gives money such as Oren, platinum coins, and furniture collection tickets, and increases the client's Affinity.

Failure to fulfill a request by the due date will result in a decrease in prestige value and, depending on the request, a decrease in karma.

You can accept up to five requests at the same time, and you cannot cancel them. You can discard a request, but you will be considered to have failed, so you need to plan accordingly.

Difficulty

There is a difficulty level for each request, which is roughly indicated by the number of ★'s. The higher the difficulty level, the more difficult the request will be. The higher the difficulty, the tougher the enemies and quota, and the higher the reward.

The higher the prestige value, the more likely the higher difficulty level will appear. Also, some types of requests will not appear unless the prestige value is above a certain level.

Reroll of Listed Requests

The list of requests will change over time, but you can also use the “Reroll Requests” button at the bottom right of the list to instantly update the list of requests.

Rerolling uses 1 of the city's influence, but since influence is earned as a reward for each request, you can receive requests in rapid succession if you are able to consistently complete requests for each reroll.

Dedicated Maps

Some requests take you to a dedicated map where you are required to complete a certain quota.

The moment you receive a request, you will be forcibly transferred to the map. You can escape from the edge of the map or, if there is a time limit, you can return to the city when the time is up.

If you die and crawl back to the city, you will be returned to that city.

Success or failure will be judged and rewards will be handed over when you return to the city.

The map is automatically generated each time and you cannot enter the same map twice.

Be careful not to miss any items dropped by enemies, and be aware that you will not be able to get back any of the gold you have lost due to death.

You cannot sleep or enter a tent on a dedicated map. You cannot set up campfires in the same way as in towns.

Request type

Collection

  • Name: My hobby collections, Urgent request, Gift for myself, Supply, research material, Collector's request, The end of a craze
  • Location: Any town
  • Contents: Deliver the specified items
  • Note: Rewards will increase depending on the quality of the item.

Bulk order

  • Name:
  • Location: Player's land
  • Contents: Delivery of multiple pieces of junk or other specified items.
  • Note:Requests that appear only on the player's land

Cooking

  • Name: A new recipe!, Healthy eating, My Stomach!, Cocktail party!, Enchanting eggs, Going on a picnic, Meat!, Fruit Dessert, I love noodles!, Fish for children, Bread enthusiast, My Stomach!, Hot soup night!
  • Location: Any town
  • Contents: Deliver a dish of a specified genre or a specified item.
  • Note: The type of dishes required depends on the player's cooking skill.

Delivery

  • Name: Small errand, The city in a frenzy, Delivery request,
  • Location: Any town
  • Contents: Deliver items to the specified city
  • Note:
    • The item you are delivering does not have a flag attached to it, so if you deliver the same item that the player has, it will still be counted as a successful delivery.
    • The item you are delivering will not be confiscated even if you exceed the delivery deadline (you can take it with you), but the penalty for failure is large (-15 karma).

Escort

  • Name: Urgent request, Escort requested!, Simple Escort, Messenger's Escort, Prevent an assassination
  • Location: Any town
  • Contents: Take the escort target to the designated city.
    • The escort target is not counted in the number of companions taken. They cannot be protected by pet leashes or parasites, etc.
    • Attempting to move around the field map while too far from the escort target is considered abandoning the request.
  • Note: In Elona, some escort requests had extremely short deadlines or were interrupted by assassins, but as of Elin's beta version, all escort requests are the same.

Harvest

  • Name: Harvest for me
  • Location: Tends to occur in Yowyn. Does not occur on player's land.
  • Contents: Go to a field and deliver a specified weight of crops within a time limit.
    • If the harvest is in your or your pet's inventory at the end of the game, it will be confiscated at random, resulting in a -1 karma
    • There will be encounters with wild animals and enemies of a similar level.
  • Note:
    • If you have already achieved your quota, you can complete it before the deadline by leaving the map yourself
    • There is not much time to go back and forth between the delivery box and the field many times, so it is a good idea to get through the excess by leaving the crops with your pet, etc.
    • There is no penalty for using a sickle to harvest seeds from crops. They will grow as normal crops if you raise them
    • There are multiple wells placed at a high probability on the harvest map, so you can aim for wishes, mutations, etc.

Performance

  • Name: Celebrity party,
  • Location: Tends to occur in Palmia and Lumiest. Does not occur on player's land.
  • Contents: Go to the party venue and score a specified number of points within a time limit.
    • Since Oren can make money from performing, the fee for the request does not include Oren. Even if the request is unsuccessful, you can still make money from the performance
    • You can either bring your own instrument, or use the microphones, harpsichords and harps that are scattered around the area. The location of the instruments is also a good place to gather a crowd
  • Note:
    • Even if you have scored the required points, if you leave the map on your own, you will fail.
    • Unlike Elona, killing a partygoer decreases karma.

Hunting

  • Name: Troublesome monsters, Regular patrol, A little good deed
  • Location: Other than the player's land
  • Contents: Defeat the specified number of enemy monsters
  • Note:
    • It is easy to achieve this even in the early stages by hunting weak enemies.
    • If you accept multiple requests at the same time, the defeat count will progress in parallel with the other requests, so it's efficient. It also goes well with other battle-type requests.

Hunting (with race specification)

  • Name: Foul race!
  • Location: Other than the player's land
  • Contents: Defeat the specified number of specified races.
    • The deadline for completion is indefinite, so you will be able to achieve it at some point. On the other hand, you should be careful because you will continue to fill the order slots until you achieve it.
  • Note: Unlike normal subjugation requests, defeating a neutral NPC will still count as long as the race matches.

Extermination

  • Name: Request for extermination of monsters, monsters around the house, extermination of monsters
  • Location: Other than the player's land
  • Contents: Go to the dedicated map and defeat all the monsters there.
  • Note:

War

  • Name: Monster's den, We're at war!
  • Requirement: More than 1000 fame.
  • Location: Tends to occur in Aquli Teola and Derphy. Does not occur on player's land.
  • Contents: Fight against the endless waves of enemies and hold out until you are given permission to retreat and return home.
    • The more enemies you defeat, the higher your reward will be, but the enemies that appear will also gradually become stronger. Enemies from the 50th floor and above will have special level scaling, and will become extremely powerful.
    • If you see a message in the top left corner that says you can request reinforcements, you can summon reinforcements from the Battle Horn.
    • After a certain amount of time has passed, a rare monster will appear as the enemy general. Even if you don't defeat it, it won't affect the outcome of the request. If you wait a little longer, another enemy general will appear
    • If you wait a little longer, a message will appear in the top left corner saying “You can retreat!”, and you will be able to signal your retreat with the horn
      • If you give the signal, the situation will change to “Withdrawing!”, and if you can escape from the map alive in this state, you will have completed the request. The escape magic will start at the same time as the signal, so you can escape even if a turn has passed
    • If you want to fight more enemies, you can use the horn to forcibly call the next wave of enemies. However, be careful that calling the next wave of enemies will reset the count down to your escape
  • Notes:
    • The horn can be carried, so you can fight at the edge of the map where it is easy to retreat, or you can use it to teleport away in an emergency
      • Note that you cannot carry other items at the same time because you cannot put it in your backpack, and that you cannot blow the horn unless you take a few turns to place it on the floor.
    • After the escape begins with the signal to retreat, you can cancel it using escape yourself, so you can always challenge the extra round with the ability to retreat from the edge of the map.
