Elin:Cards

Cards are one of the collectibles in Elin.

Overview

When you collect a card, information about that NPC or monster is registered in the “Card Codex” tab of the journal, where you can view information such as level, race, class, occupation, and the number of times you have found a weakness in a Naughty book.

The bonus for colleting are an increase of drop rate of the NPC they came from.

The bonus go by 2 card for +1, 3 cards total for a +2, 6 cards total for a +3, and so on and so forth

Cards, like taxidermy, have the effect of increasing tourism value and can be displayed at the base, but removing a card from the Card Codex removes the information from the there and loses its drop rate bonus. It is also recommended that cards be collected in the Card Codex, since placing a card of the same monster and a taxidermy figure on the same piece of land will not add to the tourist value of one of them.

Obtaining Cards

Cards have a chance of being dropped by NPCs upon death. Elite rank NPCs will always drop a card.

However, the player's pets, residents, NPCs in performance venues, and moongates will not drop cards.

Also, unlike in Elona, it is not possible to wish for cards or taxidermy of specific NPCs.

NPCs whose cards cannot be obtained

• All NPCs who join in Home quests (Loytel, etc.)
• Farris: invincible until he is rescued in Nymelle, after which he becomes the player's companion, so there is no opportunity to obtain him.
• Poppy: Ditto.
  • However, if it is another individual poppy somewhere, it is possible to defeat it and obtain the card
• Monsters that do not appear in the city or Nefia
  • Apostles (only black angels exist somewhere)
  • Catsister (they exist somewhere )

NPCs who will not be able to obtain cards if they miss the time

At the moment, fortunately, there are no NPCs for whom the opportunity to obtain a card is lost due to scenario progression.

By the way, if you recruit a unique NPC before you get the card, once you banish them, they will return to where they were and you will be able to defeat them and get the card.
