Players die when their HP becomes negative.
For race and class with Mana body feat, such as Wraith and Executioner, players can continue to use MP as life after their HP reaches zero, and they die when their MP becomes negative.
Overview
Selecting "Buried" will take you back to the title, where you can start over from the point where you last saved.
Choosing "Crawl up" will restart the game from My Home or the last town you stopped in, but you will suffer some penalties.
If you chose the Vow of Eternity option when you created your character, you will not be able to crawl back to your last saved location upon death, and the save data will be deleted.
Death penalty
If you choose to crawl up after death, you will be resurrected with 1/3 HP, 0 MP and Stamina, and some recovery of fullness. A skull mark will appear on the World map at the location of the death. In addition, as a death penalty, 40-60% of the money you have will be dropped at the point of death, and the experience of your attributes will be reduced. If you are in a situation where you have not gained much experience, such as just after your attribute has grown, the penalty may cause your parameters to drop.
No items are dropped due to death, but if a player dies from being crushed while carrying a heavy object, the heavy object that caused his or her death will be dropped at the place of death. However, the iron ball caused by divine punishment will not disappear until the specified number of turns have passed, even if you die.
When a player dies on a map dedicated to a request, the request is treated as a failure. After receiving the death penalty, the player is returned to the city where the request was received, and the player receives the penalty for failure of the request, such as karma or loss of fame.
Although lost money can be recovered by returning to the point of death, money can be lost for reasons such as dropping money on a map that cannot be re-entered, such as a request map, or the map being regenerated before the player's arrival. If you want to avoid losing your possessions, deposit extra money in a piggy bank or banker on a daily basis.
You will not receive a death penalty for the first 90 days of the game. After that, you can still avoid the death penalty at a certain rate if you have a ★Letter of Will (Kickstarter Reward).
Also, in duel with adventurers and unique NPCs, you will receive a death message in the log when you are defeated, but you will not receive a death penalty.
Respawn Point
At the beginning of the game, the player's respawn point is set at My Home (Meadow).
The player's respawn point can be changed to that location by using the hearth stones on the player's land or waystones located in various areas.
In addition to the above mentioned registration points, a player can also select the last town he/she stopped in as his/her respawn point.
