===Additives:===
=== Nutrition ===
<!-- SEASONINGS TABLE STARTS HERE -->
Food has a set nutritional parameter.

Nutrition is the amount by which satiety is restored, as well as the multiplier by which experience is added to abilities and potentials. For example, a food with a nutritional value of 20 will restore twice as much satiety and gain twice as much experience as a food with a nutritional value of 10. The nutritional content of homemade food varies depending on the nutritional content of each ingredient.

Eating a meal in the Hungry or worse state provides a 10% food effect bonus. Conversely, if you exceed your satiety level by eating extremely nutritious food, the excess nutrition is ignored. (Details unknown. Need to verify)

The nutrition you get from the food crafted with the gourmet 3 feat is compressed (nutrition -10%, food effect +5%), so you can get the benefits of a meal without straining your stomach.

=== Decay ===
Food made of raw materials loses its freshness over time and eventually spoils.

Food that has completely rotted is given the<span style="color:#6f0000;">【Stinky】</span>(Perception Lv. -2), and eating it will have negative effects such as suffering from status abnormalities or receiving negative experience for your attribute.

If the food is still in the stale stage, it can be cooked to regain its freshness, but if the food is completely rotten, it will produce rotten food even if it is cooked.

=== Blessing/Curse ===
Blessed food increases the food effect, while cursed food decreases the food effect. Unlike Elona, eating cursed food does not cause vomiting.

Also, in Elin, blessed/cursed food no longer occurs naturally. If you want them, you need to intentionally bless or curse the food by mixing it with blessed/cursed water, or using blessed/cursed milk if the dish uses milk as an ingredient.

=== Cannibalism ===
If you eat meat with the [Cannibalism] trait, you may gain the Cannibalism feat.

This feat increases the food effect of food with the [Cannibalism] trait, and decreases the food effect of food without it.

The duration of this feat is shorter than in Elona, so you will probably get tired of the taste of human flesh after a few meals and return to your old life.

== Foods by Type ==
===Meat and Egg===
The traits of meat and eggs depend on the race of the monster or NPC that dropped them.

The following are meat and egg traits that do not originate from the monster, obtained by dismantling the dish or otherwise, and the actual meat and eggs will have the respective dietary traits of the monster added to them.

See '''[[Elin:Food/Monster Food Traits|Food/Monster Food Traits]]''' for the meat and egg meal trait bonuses for each monster.

|style="color:black;" |Type
The traits of store-bought doughs, noodles, and rice will be as follows.
|Quality
|Trait 1
|Trait 2
|Trait 3
|Trait 4
|style="color:black;"|Yield
|style="color:black;"|Notes
-->
Quality of food grown from seed is dependent on +rating. Produce +1 or higher has an extra <span style="color:darkgreen;">positive</span> trait, determined and fixed when reaching +1.
<br>
Seeds otherwise unobtainable may be spat out by [[Elin:Gods#Rewards|Cute Fairy]] when fed.

===Manufactured Goods:===
If you make your own using millstone, the traits will come from what the ingredients had, but the highest level is inherited instead of being combined with the same trait, as in cooking.
Edible decorations, food bought from NPCs, and processed foods.

===Seasonings and Herbs===
| style="color:black" |Level 18 Fish Meal recipe
In [[Elin:Fortune Bell|'''Fortune Bell''',]] condiments with 【Premium Quality】 can be redeemed for casino chips.

The only difference is the quality; the other food traits are the same as the regular ones.

Herbs in Elin are medicinal herbs with traits that restore status abnormality and can also be used as seasonings.

Unlike Elona's herbs, eating it does not gain experience to the main attribute or latent ability.

It is effective when eaten as is, but can also be '''[[Elin:Creating|crafted]]''' to make a bandage with medicinal properties.

===Dishes===
''<big>Main Page: [[Elin:Food/Cooking|Cooking]]</big>''

Foods can be cooked to develop their attributes and their potential more efficiently.

Some dishes can use more than one ingredient, making them excellent food with many food traits.

You can create your own dishes to match the main attributes you want to develop, and you can also buy dishes made with various ingredients '''[[Elin:Vendors|at stores]]'''.

The nutritional content of homemade dishes varies depending on the nutritional content of each ingredient.

When the gourmet Feat reaches rank 2, additional seasonings can be added to some dishes.

<nowiki>*</nowiki>Dishes initially generated without a store or cookware, such as those located in town, have their own nutritional and food traits, but only negative traits, such as [Harmful Substance] for take-out pizza, will be given to your own creations as well!

'''Notes: Cooking by Fire Damage'''
Some foods will be cooked when they are destroyed by fire. The quality of the finished product will be higher depending on the strength of the fire.
Can be cooked: meat, fish, fruit, nuts, dough, rice, egg, Imo
Cannot be cooked(just be destroyed): vegetables other than Imo, seasonings, powdered medicine
===Failed Dishes===
If you cook a dish while your cooking skill has not reached the required level for the recipe, these will sometimes take the place of the dish you want to make.
Eating them has only a negative effect, so use a hammer to demolish them.

For a simplified list of ingredients by Attribute & Potential growth, see this page.

In addition to traits that affect the growth of elements and potentials, homemade food may be given quality traits, with better quality food increasing the experience and potentials gained.

Human Flesh N/A Humanoid Corpse Increase insanity, occasionally gain Cannibalism feat
Tainted N/A Undead Corpse Always treated as rotten. (Still digestible with "Digest rotten food with ease" enchantment)
Adam N/A [Little Sister]'s Corpse Increase base potential of main attributes. Caps at a total of +50.

(Chaos Shape only: Gain Adam feat.)

The eggs of humans, undead, and machines have the [Human Flesh] , [Tainted], and [bleeding] traits, but there are no special effects when you eat them.

Nutrition

Decay

Food made of raw materials loses its freshness over time and eventually spoils.

Food that has completely rotted is given the【Stinky】(Perception Lv. -2), and eating it will have negative effects such as suffering from status abnormalities or receiving negative experience for your attribute.

If the food is still in the stale stage, it can be cooked to regain its freshness, but if the food is completely rotten, it will produce rotten food even if it is cooked.

Blessing/Curse

Blessed food increases the food effect, while cursed food decreases the food effect. Unlike Elona, eating cursed food does not cause vomiting.

Also, in Elin, blessed/cursed food no longer occurs naturally. If you want them, you need to intentionally bless or curse the food by mixing it with blessed/cursed water, or using blessed/cursed milk if the dish uses milk as an ingredient.

Cannibalism

If you eat meat with the [Cannibalism] trait, you may gain the Cannibalism feat.

This feat increases the food effect of food with the [Cannibalism] trait, and decreases the food effect of food without it.

The duration of this feat is shorter than in Elona, so you will probably get tired of the taste of human flesh after a few meals and return to your old life.

Dough is the generic term for flour, bread dough, noodles, and powdered drugs.

The traits of store-bought doughs, noodles, and rice will be as follows.

If you make your own using millstone, the traits will come from what the ingredients had, but the highest level is inherited instead of being combined with the same trait, as in cooking.

Dishes

Main Page: Cooking

Foods can be cooked to develop their attributes and their potential more efficiently.

Some dishes can use more than one ingredient, making them excellent food with many food traits.

You can create your own dishes to match the main attributes you want to develop, and you can also buy dishes made with various ingredients at stores.

The nutritional content of homemade dishes varies depending on the nutritional content of each ingredient.

When the gourmet Feat reaches rank 2, additional seasonings can be added to some dishes.

*Dishes initially generated without a store or cookware, such as those located in town, have their own nutritional and food traits, but only negative traits, such as [Harmful Substance] for take-out pizza, will be given to your own creations as well!
