*HoT is Nature's Embrace
**Summons Fire Hound, Fire Centipedes, or Flaming Ancient Crab
- Caladrius and Carbuncle are easily obtained early on through an animal trainer. Both have the ability to revive
- Carbuncle has much better stats and Holy Veil
- Caladrius has Nature's Embrace which is better than Cure Light Wound, and has Hero. Has very poor mana
- Defender, Golden Knight, and Militant all require a long term faith investment to obtain.
- Defender can revive, has Cure Heavy Wound, and Lay on Hands
- Golden Knight's ability to heal is more of a bonus with its offensive move set. Cannot revive
- Militant is an excellent party buffer, and has Cure Critical Wound, but lacks the ability to revive
- Farris and Kettle are both obtained through story progression, with Farris being obtainable much earlier
- Farris can barely heal, and should be considered a bonus rather than her party role
- Kettle has Nature's Embrace and Elemental Shield, which can help sustain the part
- Melilith is obtained through a quest. She has the ability to revive, but cannot heal
- Missionary of Darkness and Zealot of Fire are both only obtainable through capturing via Monster Ball, but neither is worth the effort for a party healer
- Nun, both Secretaries, and the Healer can be obtained via town recruitment
- Nun only has Cure Light Wound and no revive
- Secretaries have Cure Heavy Wound, which is significantly better than the Light version. If you get one, I recommend the Nefu version
- Healer is a significantly higher level than the other recruitables, requiring much more CHA if you want to charm the
- Misaki should be though of as a long term investment of a tank, rather than a healer
If you're going for a fully party of 8 pets, I highly recommend bringing along someone that can revive them. Caladrius is easily obtainable, but is very weak with low mana. Missionary of Darkness has weaken which can be handy, but they're not easily obtained and have no healing capability. Melilith can revive and summon, but the lack of healing means you'll want another healer in your party. Carbuncle lacks offense, but is a great choice you can start with early on. If you're worshipping Jure (or want to temporarily do so), Defender will outshine anyone else as a healer.
