=== Beta 22.61 (Nightly)===
<big>'''8/10 2024'''</big>
In this Nightly build, there have been significant changes to the crafting system and its surrounding mechanics. These changes are expected to have a major impact on game balance, but rather than focusing on adjusting the current balance, the modifications are made with a long-term perspective, considering future development in terms of scalability and the overall direction of the game. Some parts are yet to be implemented, but the main changes can be summarized as follows:
* Traits like "Sweet," which were previously seen only on food items, will now be applied to regular items as well. Additionally, the traditional quality rating will be converted into a quality bonus trait.
* The base quality will no longer change through crafting or farming. If a quality bonus trait is present, the base quality will increase proportionally.
* The impact of quality on item prices and effects will be reduced. Instead, new traits such as value traits and recovery traits will be introduced in the future.
* When crafting, if multiple materials have the same trait, traits marked with a "+" (mainly food-related traits) will have all instances of that trait added together, while for other traits, only the highest value will be inherited.
The following are additional changes:
[Additions and Changes]
* Modifications to the crafting system.
* More detailed information about crafted items will now be displayed in the crafting screen. Additionally, the quality display in the crafting screen has been removed.
* Food traits will now display up to five slots, excluding fixed slots, and will be shown with a "+" symbol in the crafting screen. Traits with higher effects will be displayed first, and only the displayed traits will have an effect when consumed.
* Nutrition information will now be displayed in tooltips for food items.
* The probability of production-related skills appearing as random enchants on equipment has been reduced (on a trial basis).
* Item levels will no longer affect item prices (enhancement levels like +1 will continue to increase prices as before).
* Pressing the x key while hovering over an item will display detailed information, including traits.
* Added the "Healing" trait to cotton.
* Reduced the probability of furniture having enhancement levels applied.
[Fixes]
* Fixed a glitch where the resize icon would appear on the background window when moving the mouse.
* Other minor fixes and adjustments.
[Notes]
* Traits that count towards the five slots for food traits, excluding special traits like collagen, are those that provide positive experience points to abilities and potential abilities. Negative traits are always treated as separate slots.
* Existing seeds will receive a quality bonus according to their enhancement level once they have been grown. Apologies for the inconvenience, but please grow the seeds. Traits on cotton are inherent to the material itself and will not appear on seeds, but the enhancement level will be applied upon harvest.
* While nutrition is now displayed, there are no changes to the mechanics of eating. Nutrition = the amount of fullness restored, and it also serves as a multiplier for the experience points added to abilities and potential abilities. For example, a food item with 20 nutrition will restore twice as much fullness and grant twice as many experience points as a food item with 10 nutrition.
* The item level and base quality of equipment will now be fixed, regardless of the level of the dungeon (Nephia) they are found in. However, since the performance of equipment has always been determined by the content level at the time of generation, rather than the item level or quality, this change will not affect the performance of generated equipment. However, the reduced item level will result in lower sale prices for high-level equipment.
* Due to the changes in the crafting system, there may be unintended behaviors or imbalances. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
