===Overview===
This page explains detailed specifications such as food traits, nutrition, experiences gained from eating, and fullness (Hunger).
Note: This page contains knowledge derived from data analysis of the game.

Eating food, you get direct and potential EXP in skills corresponding to the foo traits.
== Nutrition and Hunger (Fullness) ==
The amount of EXP you get has some RNG.
Hunger is a parameter referred to as “fullness” in the game.

For the sake of clarity, we will use the term “Hunger” on this page.

===Nutrition and Hunger===
=== Hunger ===
Hunger fluctuates between 0 and 100, with higher values indicating greater hunger.

As shown above, since the Hunger at Bloated ranges from 0 to 9, even if it is indicated as Bloated, the Hunger may not necessarily be 0.

Hunger is a value between 0 to 100.
=== Gaining EXP through Eating ===
It indicates how hungry you are.
When you eat, you gain experience for your attributes or potential based on the food traits of the food. The higher the nutrition of the food, the more experience you gain.

0 ー    9: Bloated
However, even if you eat food with a nutrition value higher than your Hunger, the excess will be discarded, and only the nutrition that brings your Hunger to 0 will be used to calculate experience.

10 ー  29: Filled
=== Reduction in Hunger through eating ===
If you have no feats related to Hunger, Hunger will decrease based on the nutrition value of the eaten food.

30 ー  59: NO POP UP
Feats of Light Eater, Heavy Eater, and From North have the effect of varying the amount of Hunger reduced through eating.

60 ー  79: Hungry

80 ー  89: Very Hungry
The relation between the Hunger reduction and nutrition is as below.

90 ー 100: Starving
Hunger reduction= Nutrition * ( 100 + Light Eater Lv. * 10) / ( 100 + Heavy Eater Lv. * 10 + From North Lv. * 15  )

Without feats that change the amout of diet, eating food reduces Hunger by the number of nutrition the food has.

The amount of EXP  propotionally increases as the nutrition increases.
Light Eater Feat increases the numerator, which increases the decrease in Hunger, making it easier to feel full with smaller meals.

However, if nutrition exceeds Hunger, the value of Hunger before diet is used in calculating EXP instead.
Heavy eater and From North Feats increase the denominator, which decrease the amount of hunger reduction, making it difficult to feel full even after eating a lot.

Even in Bloated state, your hunger could be nonzero, as Bloated is a state with 0-9 Hunger
=== The effect of feats in eating ===
NPCs and automatic eating of player will automatically eat when their hunger reaches 60 or higher (hungry to starving).

Therefore, this examples will use the case of eating when the hunger is 60.

==== In the case of Heavy Eater Lv. 2 ====

* When eating less than the hunger (e.g., nutrition 60)

Hunger reduction=  60 * 100 / (100 + 2 * 10) = 50

Therefore, the experience gained is 60 and the hunger reduction is 50.

A smaller hunger reduction means that the time until hunger returns is shorter. Eating is also an opportunity to improve attributes, so eating more frequently is advantageous.

* When eating more than the hunger (e.g., nutrition 72)

Hunger reduction= 72 * 100 / (100 + 2 * 10) = 60

====How ingredients' nutrition affects the nutriet of the product====
The formula is as below.

[nutrition of the product] = [(sum of all nutrition of the ingredients) + (bonus value)] * [ 1 - {Gourmet3 compensation + 0.05(# of ingredients -1)} ]
The hunger reduction is 60 due to the effect of the feat.

The bonus is a relatively small integer decided by the type of the food. For example, the bonus is 4 for meat on the bone.
However, since the nutrition exceeds the hunger level, the excess nutrition is discarded, and the experience gained is equivalent to 60 nutrition.

Gourmet3 compensation is 0.1.

Taken together, with Gourmet3 feat, the nutrition of the product is approximately (the sum of all nutrition of the ingredients) * 0.7.
Although the experience gained in both cases is equivalent to 60 nutrition, in the latter case, the amount of hunger reduced is greater, and your stomach becomes unnecessarily full.

===Feats changing Hunger Loss===
In conclusion, if you have the Heavy Eater or From North feats, '''eating so that the nutrition does not exceed your hunger''' will reduce unnecessary hunger reduction and maximize efficiency.
The relation between the decline in Hunger and nutrition is as below.

Decline in Hunger = Nutrition * ( 100 + Light Eater Lv. * 10) / ( 100 + Heavy Eater Lv. * 10 + From North Lv. * 15  )
==== In the case of Light Eater Lv. 2 ====

Light Eater feat increases the decline in Hunger by the numorator, while Heavy Eater and From North feats mitigates the decline in Hunger by increasing the denominator.少
* When eating less nutrition than hunger (e.g., nutrition 50)

Important point is that these feats do not change the EXP you get from eating food, and they are just changing the amount of decline in Hunger.
Hunger reduction= 50 * (100 + 2 * 10) / 100 = 60

====When You Have Lv.2 Heavy Eater====
NPC and automatic eatingn of PC try to eat food when their Hunger is above or equal to 60, therefore this example regards eating food with 60 nutrition when yoour Hunger is 60.

Decline in Hunger =  60 * 100 / (100 + 2 * 10) = 50
The hunger reduction is 60 due to the effect of the feat.

So, while you gain EXP as if your Hunger decreased by 60, you lose only 50 Hunger in reality.
Although you ate less than your hunger level, the effect of the feat increased the hunger reduction, causing your stomach to become unnecessarily full.

Next exaample is about eating food with 72 nutrition when yoour Hunger is 60.
Increasing the amount of hunger reduction means that it will take longer to become hungry again.

Decline in Hunger = 72 * 100 / (100 + 2 * 10) = 60
This may be helpful when you are struggling to find food at the beginning of the game.  But eating is also an opportunity to improve your attributes, so reducing the frequency of eating will be disadvantageous in the long run.

Because nutrition exceeds Hunger, you get the same amout of EXP as the previous example but your Hunger declines by 60.
* When you eat more than the hunger (e.g., nutrition 60)

Larger decline in Hunger means longer interval between each diets. This leads to less chance of gaining EXP from food.
Hunger reduction= 60 * (100 + 2 * 10) / 100 = 72

The supermacy of low nutrition food exitsts if the diet traits you have negate decline in Hunger.
The hunger reduction is 60 due to the effect of the feat.

'''In conclusion, you should eat food with nutrition lower or equal to 60 to maximmize your EXP gain, as eating it doesn't waste your Hunger.'''
However, since the nutrition is higher than the hunger, the excess nutrition is discarded and the experience gained is equivalent to nutrition 60.

====When You Have Lv.2 Light Eater.====
Therefore, the extra hunger reduction due to the effect of the feat can be ignored.
Suppose eating food with 60 nutrition when yoour Hunger is 60.

Decline in Hunger = 60 * (100 + 2 * 10) / 100 = 72

So, while you gain EXP as if your Hunger decreased by 60, you lose 72 Hunger.
Both cases resulted in a hunger 0, but the latter resulted in more experience gained from eating.

However, as Hunger cannot become negative, you actually lose 60 Hunger.
In other words, if you have the Light Eater feat, '''eating so that your nutrition is higher than your hunger level (eating too much every time)''' will negate the disadvantage of the extra hunger reduction and maximize efficiency.

== Formulas of cooking ==

When eating food with 50 nutrition
=== Nutrition of dishes and ingredients ===
The formula is as below.

Decline in Hunger = 50 * (100 + 2 * 10) / 100 = 60
[nutrition of the product] = [(sum of all nutrition of the ingredients) + (bonus value)] * [ 1 - {Gourmet3 compensation + 0.05(# of ingredients -1)} ]

Thus, you lose 60 Hunger as well.
The bonus is a relatively small integer decided by the type of the food. For example, the bonus is 4 for meat on the bone.

This time, yo get less EXP as you intake less nutrition.
Gourmet3 compensation is 0.1.

'''In conclusion, you should eat food with nutrition higher or equal to 60 to maximize your EXP gain, as eating it leads to skipping unwanted Hunger loss.'''
In summary, with Gourmet3 feat, the nutrition of the product is approximately (the sum of all nutrition of the ingredients) * 0.7.

''<u>Food Trait</u>
<u>Food Trait</u>

While some simple dishes have additional fod traits, food traits of most of the dishes are mere addition of traits of ingredients.
The basic calculation of food traits in cooking is a simple addition of the food traits of the ingredients.

However, the Lv. shown and the actual number of effects are unmatched. For example, if you make a dish out of 2 ingredients that have STR Lv.8, the product will have STR Lv.15.
However, since the Lv. displayed in the game is +1 higher than the actual level. For example, if you make a dish out of 2 ingredients that have STR Lv.8, the product will have STR Lv.15.

But there are exceptions: sky blue food traits don't add up and the larger one survives.

====EXP Formula====
====EXP Formula====
Disregarding RNG, the EXP is as below.
Eating food, you get direct and potential EXP in skills corresponding to the food traits.

.
[ direct/potential EXP to each stats] = [Nutrition] * [Food Traits] * [ 1 + "Quality Lv." + "Gourmet3" + "Dining Spot" + "Just Prepared" ] * [other factor1] * [other factor2] ....

Food traits are propotional to the numbers roughly calculated by substructing 1 from the food trait Lv..

"Quality Lv." is 1 for Lv.1 and increases 0.1 for every quality Lv. up to 1 when quality Lv. is 11.
The EXP is as below.

"Gourmet3" is 0.05.
[ direct/potential EXP to each stats] = [Nutrition] * [Food Traits] * [ 1 + "Quality Lv." + "Gourmet 3" + "Dining Spot" + "Just Prepared" ] * [other factor 1] * [other factor 2] ....

"Dining Spot" is 0.1 if you eat inside a dining spot defined by a dining sign.
Food traits are proportional to the numbers roughly calculated by subtracting 1 from the food trait Lv..

"Just Prepared is 0.1.
* "Quality Lv." is 1 for Lv.1 and increases 0.1 for every quality Lv. up to 1 when quality Lv. is 11.
* "Gourmet3" is 0.05.
* "Dining Spot" is 0.1 if you eat inside a dining spot defined by a dining sign.
* "Just Prepared is 0.1.

There are several other factors.
