He is a cold-hearted heretic, part human and machine, who, through trickery and intrigue, seized the throne from the ancient God. His power is still beyond measure. To him, the existence of gods and providence are illogical, and his immediate goal is the slaying of gods, ultimately aiming to establish a society entirely governed by machines.  

While Mani's combat niche may be considered narrow, he does grant several generic dungeoneering bonuses to spot hidden, appraisal, strategy and lock picking. Worship of Mani can help ease early-game woes when these skills are low, but it may be better to switch to another god later on when these skills hit diminishing returns and the bonuses become extraneous.

The android is a strong contender for an offensive pet with its triple ranged attack and ability to reboot. Compared to magic attackers such as Izpalt 's Exile and Kizuami's White Vixen, the android's advantages are that its damage is not reduced by the enemy's faith-bonus elemental resistance and that its guns are highly customizable through '''[[Elin:Weapons#Modification tools|modification tools]]'''. Compared to Lulwy's Black Angel, which is also a shooting attacker, the android has the advantage of its high number of shots and durability, while the Black Angel has the advantage of its versatility in using obstruction and auxiliary skills and its explosive power with boosts.

The Winchester Premium is the only shotgun in Elin that can also hit the target and enemies in one square around it. The damage of this gun is converted into the rare element of impact, as well as having the effect of activating the magic of silence. This weapon does not have a faction effect and is equally powerful with a change of faith. The best range is 1, which is somewhat unwieldy for a remote weapon, but in Elin it is easy to use multiple guns depending on the situation, and damage decay can be reduced by attaching modification tools.

The easiest way to gain mani's piety is to produce medicines such as bone powder and crim powder, which are newly received in Elin. You can produce large quantities of powdered medicines by cultivating and gathering crims, collecting bones in Nefia and wildness maps, and grinding them in a millstone.

Machine-type creatures which are hostile have a chance to be dominated by a believer of Mani and become the believer's follower; the dominated machine is considered a summon. The domination check is made when a machine targets a believer in its combat turn. Neutral machines may be attacked to turn them hostile and hence be dominated.

Machines which are residents at the player's home can not be dominated. However, as with the player, allies and enemies who profess faith in Mani can also dominate some machines who attack them.
