“I'm always searching, searching for... something?
...
No—for someone.
But one thing is for certain. When we see each other, we'll know. And we'll surely reunite one day. That was our promise to each other, after all.”
- Adams "Hathaway Mesherada" Trinh
About
Hello! I'm the backer who wished for the adventurer 「Mesherada」 and her weapon, 《Hathaway's Dagger》. But yeah... if I was an adventurer, I think the above quote is what I would say. It'd be like, my "character introduction" quote y'know? The one that you read to get a sense of the character and their personality and all that. (It was partly inspired by a quote from Kimi no Na wa, one of my top 3 favorite anime of all time.)
But... I think it accurately reflects my thoughts and feelings sometimes? That feeling of... searching for someone. My someone, to whom I could say, "I want to eat your pancreas." And who I'd let eat my pancreas. And they'd be like, "Yeah, let's do that." Kind of that romantic notion. (And this comes from, of course, my #1 favorite anime of all time: I Want to Eat Your Pancreas.) A bond... a relationship that's beyond soulmates even—almost like your other half. I think it's beautiful though, living your life for someone else, for their sake. Living your whole life waiting for them, to finally meet them one day.
...
But for now, I'll make do with this isekai life in Elin. :)
Ah, and though my username(?) on here is "Mesherada" (that's my username right?) and I'm even using her picture for my profile page here, that's... not really accurate, I'd say? Because 「Mesherada」 is the one I'm searching for—my raison d'être. I'm just her knight, Hathaway.
Yeah, let's go with that. Call me Hathaway.
(Also, faithful Lulwy worshiper/follower.)
